Job Description:
Zenergize Power Tech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join its R&D team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience designing and testing power converters (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC) and a strong interest in embedded digital control. The role involves supporting senior engineers in developing advanced EV chargers, solar inverters, motor controllers, etc. Candidates must be familiar with basic power electronics principles, embedded C programming, and lab testing of power hardware.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and testing of power converter topologies (buck, boost, PFC, etc.)
- Support embedded software development for digital control of power converters
- Work with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, LTspice, or PLECS
- Help with component selection, schematic capture, and PCB review
- Conduct testing, debugging, and validation of lab prototypes
- Perform measurements using oscilloscopes, power analysers, and other lab instruments
- Document test results, design data, and revision logs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for mechanical, software, and production integration
- Learn and adhere to standards for product safety, EMI/EMC, and performance
Preferred Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in power electronics R&D or embedded systems
- Familiarity with basic converter topologies and digital control concepts
- Working knowledge of embedded C programming for microcontrollers
- Comfortable with lab testing and use of standard test equipment
- Strong willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced product development environment
