Job Description:
Zenergize Power Tech Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join its R&D team in Gurgaon. The selected candidate will be responsible for the design and development of complete power electronics products with a focus on digital power control. This role demands expertise in both power electronics hardware design and embedded control software development. The engineer must be capable of writing efficient and reliable C code for microcontrollers or computing platforms to implement real-time control algorithms for power converters.
Responsibilities:
- Design end-to-end power electronics systems including AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC converters
- Implement real-time digital control for power converters using microcontrollers or DSPs
- Write and optimize embedded C code for control loops such as voltage, current, MPPT, and PLL
- Select appropriate power semiconductors (IGBTs, SiC/GaN MOSFETs), gate drivers, magnetics, and protection devices
- Perform simulation and modeling of converter topologies and control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, or LTspice
- Design and review PCBs for high-voltage, high-current systems with attention to EMI/EMC compliance
- Lead prototype testing, debugging, and validation in both lab and field environments
- Ensure design compliance with relevant standards (IEC, IS, BIS, etc.) for safety and performance
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for successful product realization
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers within the power electronics team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Software tools for supply management.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in the electronics industry, with a focus on supply chain management, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
