Zenergize Powers Freyr Energy's New Smart Solar Inverter Range

Freyr Energy just launched a new range of residential solar inverters. Zenergize manufactured them. The 3 kW and 5 kW single-phase inverters run on Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, deliver up to 97.8% conversion efficiency, and come built for the realities of the Indian grid.

Zenergize Powers Freyr Energy's New Smart Solar Inverter Range

Zenergize's manufacturing expertise drives the launch of next-generation 3 kW and 5 kW residential solar inverters, built for India, engineered for performance.

We're proud to share that our manufacturing partnership with Freyr Energy has culminated in the launch of a new range of high-performance smart solar inverters, a significant milestone in our mission to accelerate India's clean energy transition.

The new inverters, manufactured by Zenergize and brought to market under Freyr Energy's integrated residential rooftop solar ecosystem, represent the kind of purposeful, precision engineering we stand for: reliable, intelligent, and built specifically for Indian conditions.

The range includes 3 kW and 5 kW single-phase variants, designed specifically for Indian homes and Indian conditions. This is part of our broader work in renewable energy manufacturing, and we're glad to see it out in the world. The launch has been covered by Mojo4Industry and Saur Energy, two of India's leading industrial and clean energy publications.

Built for the Realities of Indian Homes

India's rooftop solar market is expanding fast. But anyone who's lived here knows the grid isn't always kind. Voltage drops, fluctuations, dust seasons, and unpredictable weather all eat into system performance. These inverters were engineered with those realities in mind, not as an afterthought.

The inverters convert DC power from solar panels into stable 230V single-phase AC power. They synchronise with the utility grid, export surplus solar energy when available, and switch to grid power automatically when solar generation dips. The system keeps running. That matters.

What's Inside

The inverters run on Silicon Carbide (SiC) semiconductor technology, which pushes conversion efficiency up to 97.8%. More of the sun's energy reaches the home. Less is wasted as heat.

Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) does the continuous work of finding the optimal voltage and current from the panels, even as weather shifts through the day. It's not glamorous, but it adds up.

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth come built in. Homeowners track performance in real time through the Freyr Energy Solar App: generation, consumption, grid interaction, all from their phone.

Reliability That Holds Up

The inverters carry IP65 protection, so dust and water aren't a concern. A self-cleaning design cuts down on maintenance. Integrated safety features cover short circuits, overloads, overheating, lightning surges, and voltage spikes.

They're MNRE-approved and BIS-certified. And they come with a 10-year warranty.

Why This Partnership Makes Sense

Radhika Choudary, Co-Founder and Director of Freyr Energy, put it well. Indian homeowners are asking for more: higher backup capacity, smarter monitoring, systems that actually perform through the tough months. The old patchwork of products and fragmented data isn't cutting it anymore.

Freyr Energy operates 10 Solar Experience Centres across India and provides end-to-end rooftop solar services, from system design and installation through to financing and long-term maintenance. That kind of reach, combined with our manufacturing capability, is what makes this partnership work.

At Zenergize, we build solar inverters and EV charging solutions. Our job is to make the hardware that works in the field, not just in the lab. It's a good fit.

The Bigger Picture

PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana is pushing rooftop solar adoption across millions of Indian homes. Urban and rural. We're already seeing that demand play out in markets we've expanded into, most recently across Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior. The technology has to be ready for all of it. Efficient, certified, low-maintenance, and smart enough to handle an imperfect grid.

That's what we built. We're proud of it.
